Aphrodi-Tea: The Elixir of Aphrodite

It’s Valentine’s Day, and the older I get the more and more I love cheesy holidays. One of my presents today was a lovely tea mix from the awesome Homegrown Herbs here in Portland, Maine. If you're ever in the area this is a must of a destination.

I have not had this tea mix, but by the looks and the smell of it, it is going to be delicious. Here's the recipe if you are not in the area and you want to make your own. If you're lucky enough to live in a town with a good herb shop, make this right now as a present for your sweetheart tonight. Put the mixed herbs into a mason jar, add a hand drawn label, and there you go.

Aphrodi-Tea: A red and delicious lover's elixir of:

• Damiana,
• Ashwaganda,
• Saw palmetto berries,
• Schisandra berries,
• Hibiscus, and
• Dried Maine apple.
