Andropause and Estrogen

Andropause, Estrogen, and Energy (and what you can do about it)

Andropause, also known as male-menopause, is the hormonal shift which naturally occurs in men as they age. Starting at between the ages of 30 and 40, the amount of free testosterone in the male body begins a slow decline. Coincidentally, it is at this same exact time that men begin to complain about old age. It is at this time that we see a perceived slowing of metabolism, low energy, excess weight gain, and trouble getting "back into" shape.

Testosterone is directly responsible for every single one of these common complains made by men as they begin to age. A lower level of free testosterone in the body will lead to those above mentioned complaints, as well as a myriad of other complaints and serious health complications, such as ED, Type 2 Diabetes, depression, and obesity. It is not a "slow metabolism" which is causing these issues, but a low level of testosterone. Adding insult to injury, men routinely consume foods which are extremely high in estrogen, like soy and hops. Soy, as we know, is what tofu is made out of, but it is also what almost every cooking oil is made out of, and is added to ground beef purchased from the super market or prepared in restaurants. The ubiquitous presence of cooking oil, also known as vegetable oil, in all of our foods results in a constant bombardment of the body by estrogen. Eating meat does not limit your exposure to this toxic food; in fact, it exposes you to it.

Avoiding the Intake of Estrogen (An Anti-Estrogenic Diet)

Secondly, hops, aside from soy, are the most potent source of estrogen in our diets. Men drink beer, and every time they do they are getting an extra dose of estrogen. When is known as "brewer's droop," is ED caused by the constant exposure to hops--and their estrogen--by beer brewers and beer enthusiasts. The "beer belly" is not because of extra calories, but actually is the result of estrogen in the body, telling it to store fat around the midsection--great for bearing children, not great for men. Excess fat around the mid-section is a known precursor to heart disease and Type 2 Diabetes.

These outside sources of estrogen exacerbate andropause, as the body has a delicate natural balance of testosterone to estrogen. When the level of estrogen is raised, it effectively lowers the level of free testosterone in the body. Too much estrogen in the male body leads to much scarier health problems: testicular cancer and prostate cancer.

Luckily, we can limit our expose to estrogen containing foods, which will bring the body closer to its correct levels of hormones; unfortunately, that still leaves the male body lacking the high levels of testosterone which made their youth so enjoyable. There is a food which will correct these low levels of testosterone, and is the secret weapon in staving off andropause, and keeping you young into old age. Pine Pollen is the most potent source of testosterone in any food, and immediately raises levels of free testosterone in the body, for immediate, extremely positive health benefits. Unlike pharmaceutical testosterone replacement therapy, the plant testosterone is not molecularly identical to human testosterone, which causes the gonads to shut down production of testosterone. Pine Pollen does not do this, instead, it increases the levels of testosterone in the body, and does not interfere with the body own production of the hormone, keeping your body healthy and in production of its own testosterone.

Pine Pollen very well might be the most important food for men to be consuming on a daily basis, to combat the normal course of aging, and to combat the environmental factors which are lowering our testosterone and causes unwanted--and for me, unacceptable--health effects. Pine Pollen will immediately increase energy like no other food or health supplement, yet it is not a stimulant. Pine Pollen also immediately focus the mind, and increase attention span and focus. Long term, you'll enjoy less sleep, a much easier time getting back into shape and better muscle town, ED problems erased, weight loss and the reversal off all those complaints we thought were just part of old age.

You have to get "older", but don't have to get "old."
