Really? Black Ants?
Yes. Really.
But...why?
Because they are one of the strongest and effective restorative "herbs" that we have ever experienced.
"Has made a nice addition to the morning maté. I love that this is a [fifty-fifty] RAW ant to ant extract ratio. You can see little shards here and there of maybe antennae or legs perhaps, but it mixes very smooth. Has a strong scent too. Seems fresh. And what you may expect raw ground ants to smell like. Taste is earthy and not at all bad in my tastes. Gives me solid energy throughout the day. Noticed the libido increase as well. Great product." — Nick
This is not going to be a product for everyone. And that's OK with us. We can't make everyone happy, and we can't make a one-size-fits-all product,—and even if we could, what fun would that be (and how well would it work)?
However, for the adventurous and for those looking for something uniquely restorative, then this is your product.
Then our wild-harvested Black Ants for you.
And if you listen to your body, you'll know if what you need if something that restores at a fundamental, at a foundational and base level.
Chronic fatigue. Feelings of pre-mature aging. Ungrounded. Worn-out and burnout. Loss of all desire. Frustrated. Unable to focus. Can't move forward.

All too often when we're experiencing these symptoms, we reach for stimulants, whether that be more coffee and energy drinks, highly stimulating herbs like Maca Root or Chinese and Korean Ginseng, and even pharmaceutical or recreational drugs.
But stimulants just lead to a worsening of symptoms because the root of those symptoms is not a lack of stimulants, is a lack of reserves in the body.
There is no medical condition called "Lack of Coffee."
This is where Jing tonics and Jing foods like Black Ants come in and this is where they excel. These are not Band-Aids and these are not temporary "solutions." But they are going to make you feel better, and the effects can be long lasting.
So, yeah, are Black Ants for everyone? Probably not. Are they for you? Well, that's a question that one one person can answer and that person isn't the person writing this.
You'll know if it's you. And if it is, then this is your product.
Long revered as The King of Herbs, Black Ants (Polyrhachis vicina Roger) is known as Xuanju in Chinese medicine—translating to Black Horse. We find that a particularly suiting name.
In Chinese Medicine, Black Ants are used primarily as a Jing tonic that nourishes all three treasures: Jing, Qi, and Shen. Black Ants work with the body on a profound and restorative tonic level.
Black Ants offer a nutritive tonic qualities among the likes of Chinese Ginseng, Reishi, Deer Antler, Maca, and Astragalus.
However, unlike warming (stimulating) tonics and adaptogens, which can weaken and exacerbate someone that is already worn-down, Shilin Stone Forest Black Ants have a neutral-to-cooling effect. This is incredibly unique in Chinese herbal medicine, making them able to provide long-lasting, restorative, tonic, adaptogenic properties.
This is an ideal herb for men looking to add a potent Jing food to their routine, one that is nutrient dense, high in zinc, and is known to promote virility.
We take wild-harvested Black Ants and produce two separate preparations. A 10:1 hot water extract powder and a crush (completely pulverized) RAW Black Ant Powder.
There are benefits to both (RAW and Extract Powder), so we combine the two at a 50/50 ratio. This ensures both the concentrated tonic effects in the extracts and the restorative nutrients are intact.
Our Shilin Stone Forest Black Ants—part of our Forest Formulations collection—provides the living enzymes, proteins, and other nutrients and compounds present in the RAW Powder with a dense, potent, clinical grade 10:1 extract for ensured sustenance.
This product contains wild-harvested Black Ants (Polyrhachis vicina Roger) from the subtropics of the Yunnan Province, the home of the Shilin Stone Forest.
It is important that our Shilin Stone Forest Black Ants are not farmed. They are wild-harvested deep in the forest, using traditional methods that preserve the local, native habitat and ecology, as well as, provide an important revenue source for the indigenous people of the region.
RAW Forest Foods offers bulk, 70 gram pouches of Black Ant Extract Powder, with 35 servings (2 grams per serving) per pouch. As with all of our products, we source our ingredients as close to the produces—farms and forests—as possible, visiting sites and meeting with growers, wild-harvesters, and processors.
½ tsp, taken twice daily or as directed, preferably on an empty stomach. Recommended, once in the morning and in the evening.

Love this so much!! Discoveredit by accident and wanted to see if it worked. First day I took too much ( tbs) and let me tell you, yeah it definitely works!! Erection strength, libido up right away! Pound for pound the strongest animal on the planet. It's really clean too, love the taste I just put a tsp in my mouth, I mix this with the pine pollen and nettle tincture, I'm 53 and libido feels 23 again practically every other day I'm ready. Thanks Ryan and raw forest for your dedication to our health
this is the best ant product I have found! what a great combination to provide a well balanced profile using extract and ground ant, brilliant! I notice a profound effect physically and mentally! Thank you!
my favorite so far from the first time trying. good clean energy, good libido, just a good feeling. i must be missing some of those elements that it brings when consuming. take daily with coffee. like to mix it up daily with cistanche, shilajit and or with your elevated cordyceps, depending of the plan for the day.
Has made a nice addition to the morning maté. I love that this is a fifty fifty RAW ant to ant extract ratio. Great product.
